Blindman's Bluff

HOLE #8

The eighth hole plays blind from the tees and is a 357 yard par 4 from the whites. The preferred line shown as a red x on the photo is safely down the centre. A miss to the left may find bush trouble 225 yards out or a difficult and blind second shot bringing mounds and a pond into play. The green is 26 yards deep. The tee shot from the blues is also blind and the fairway is to the right of the silo in the distance. The fairway slopes to the left for drives shorter than 260 yards and a left rough down hill blind shot over the trouble is common.  The entire right side is lined by natural bush almost to the green which is bordered by the OB cable along the road.
